Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Vidsy provides personalized video outreach software for teams. Contact: hello@vidsy.io. For privacy-specific requests, use the same address with subject “Privacy”.

2. Information we collect

Account data. Name, email, password (hashed), workspace name, team memberships, and billing identifiers when you upgrade.

Customer content. Videos, contacts, campaign settings, website captures, messages, API keys (hashed/encrypted as applicable), and distribution connection credentials you connect.

Viewer / engagement data. On public watch pages we may process page views, play and milestone events, CTA and calendar clicks, device/browser metadata, approximate location (e.g. country from the edge network), and optional replies a prospect submits.

Technical data. Logs, IP addresses, user agents, and product analytics needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

3. How we use information

• Provide, host, and personalize campaigns and watch experiences
• Authenticate users, enforce plan limits, and prevent abuse
• Send transactional email (invites, password reset, reply notifications) when configured
• Process payments through our payment provider (Stripe)
• Generate AI media when you connect or enable an AI provider
• Maintain security, debug issues, and improve product quality
• Comply with law and respond to lawful requests

4. Legal bases (EEA/UK where applicable)

We process data to perform our contract with you, based on legitimate interests (securing and improving the service), and with consent where required (for example certain marketing or non-essential cookies).

5. Sharing

We use subprocessors to run the product, including cloud infrastructure (e.g. Cloudflare), database hosting (e.g. Neon), email delivery (e.g. Resend), payments (Stripe), website capture providers, and optional AI video providers (e.g. HeyGen) when you enable them. We do not sell personal information.

Workspace customers control prospect data they upload. If you enable tracking pixels or third-party tags on watch pages, those providers receive data under your configuration and responsibility.

6. International transfers

We may process data in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms.

7. Retention

We retain account and campaign data while your workspace is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backups, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us; some records may remain where we must keep them by law.

8. Security

We use industry-standard controls including HTTPS, hashed passwords, scoped API keys, tenant isolation in application logic, and access-restricted production secrets. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact hello@vidsy.io. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

10. Children

Vidsy is built for business use and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date on this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
